A list of ideas along with our thoughts regarding why or why not to pursue them.
- DISCLAIMER: these are all longterm promises and might not ever get done. Even the planned stuff probably won’t get done. So don’t get too excited or have expectations regarding these.
- Feel free to suggest ideas in the comments below and we’ll add to the list where we see fit.
Planned:
Things we’re actively working on or scheming about. Of course, there are private things we’re working on but don’t want to make public.
- Teams features – easy access for end clients, team members, or other sub-accounts.
Ideas:
Random stuff we haven’t decided whether or not to implement or reject.
- NGINX support – our panel actually supports this but it’s a hassle to support 2 web-servers and rewrite scripts for 2 servers (instead of 1) for every on-going update. So we’ve removed the option for now. If thousands of people with pitchforks come begging…I may consider it.
Rejected:
Probably never gonna happen because they don’t fit our vision or core business model. Don’t even ask. Of course, we may or may not come back around and re-adopt them.
- White-label panel – provide a full custom hosting experience for your clients. Probably won’t happen unless we figure out the billing part.
- End-client billing – could easily be a complicated situation on its own. So I’ll ignore.
