Hello world…BlaqPanel development train continues rolling again!
Features, UI fixes, bug fixes, graphics, and planning.
- PHP 8.1 is out (along with PHP 8.0).
- WP-CLI updated to latest version.
- More UI changes coming. Things moved around for easier scanning.
- OLS/CSF console links will be moved to server level (where they should have been in the first place). They’ll be called off the IP (instead of a domain name) which makes more sense.
Bugs and quirks?
- When 7G firewall is enabled, phpMyAdmin is not accessible. I actually kind of like it like this (for more security) but do let me know if you guys prefer phpMyAdmin to still be working.
- Callbacks are sometimes not working for me from the main Server page. But we’re making note of that.
- Many little bug fixes made. I lost track of them all. But things should feel smoother and more reliable.
Plans for the future…
- Disk usage (calculation) tool. I’m thinking to put this is a more prominent place and easier to see site space usage from the Sites page.
- To finish creating my Linux courses soon to help you DIY admins!
- Gonna start putting the new logo and favicon up when I’m not busy with development.
Overall, we’re very excited about the growth and constant developments. I’ve had bits of setback from burnout. As well being worried about this war in Ukraine.
I was living there last December and January and now worried for all the friends I left behind. It’s crazy what they’re living through. Trying to escape through the border (long queues and heavy traffic) or hiding in bomb shelters (uncomfortable and no internet). If you’d like to help, please donate to the Ukranian Army.
